The ARILOG Summer School expands its horizons: The first edition in Timișoara joins the Bucharest tradition under the name "Network Orchestration Laboratory".

Bucharest & Timișoara, 2026 – The Romanian Logistics Association (ARILOG) marks a new milestone in its mission to support education and train future specialists for Romania’s logistics and supply chain market. This August, the Summer School program expands to the western part of the country, officially launching its first edition in Timișoara.

Initially developed in Bucharest—where it has been successfully running since 2022—the project has proven over the years to be the perfect bridge between the academic and business worlds. Starting this year, the Bucharest and Timișoara editions will run in parallel, offering an even greater number of students the unique opportunity to discover the complexities behind modern supply chains.

Furthermore, in early 2026, ARILOG launched a Winter School in Brașov, with the support of Transilvania University of Brașov.

With the support of the Faculty of Management in Production and Transportation at the Polytechnic University of Timișoara, the aim of this edition is to provide participants with a structured, hands-on framework for deepening their understanding of logistics and supply chain management concepts and practices through an integrated and—above all—practical approach. Over the course of five days, students will engage in meetings and interactive sessions with industry specialists and representatives from companies in manufacturing, 3PL, FMCG, retail, and technology sectors. Through its practical focus and exposure to real-world case studies, the ARILOG Summer School aims to support students' transition from academia to the labor market and assist in their career guidance.

Over the course of five days, participating students will step away from traditional classes to immerse themselves in the world of supply chain management. The agenda for this inaugural edition offers a perfect blend of technical factory visits, warehouse tours, and workshops led by supply chain management practitioners.
