Occupational standards for three key supply chain roles have been officially published by the ANC.

ARILOG marks a milestone in the professionalization of the logistics labor market in Romania. The three professions introduced by the association into the Romanian Classification of Occupations (COR) four years ago now benefit—as of today—from official occupational standards accepted and published by the National Qualifications Authority (ANC).

A project of such importance and complexity would not have been possible without the collaboration between the association and the National Company Poșta Română; we extend our thanks to them for their active involvement and close cooperation in developing and validating these occupational standards. Together, we are building a solid foundation for the future of logistics in Romania!

Through this initiative, ARILOG provides companies, human resources departments, and professional training providers with an official, modern framework aligned with the realities of warehouses and logistics centers. These standards serve as the official tool for evaluating, recruiting, and developing the skills of industry professionals.

The three Occupational Standards are available for review and can be downloaded directly from the ANC website via the links below:

  • Order Processing Specialist HERE
  • Logistics Hub Operator (Picker) HERE

Developing these standards was a long-term process, driven by the desire to provide a sound educational infrastructure for an industry undergoing continuous expansion and digitalization. The publication of these standards by the ANC represents a genuine success for the entire supply chain community in Romania.
