Rob O'Byrne – CEO, Logistics Bureau, Australia Rob O'Byrne is the founder and CEO of the Logistics Bureau consultancy in Australia. In his projects he supported and advised Top 500 companies from 25 countries. Prior to founding the company which is based in 4 countries in the Asia Pacific area (Australia, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam), Rob taught postgraduate courses in supply chain and logistics and developed a 22 year career in the British Army with various roles, in various departments in the supply chain. Rob holds a Masters in Logistics from Cranfield University, an internship in Nuclear Missile Engineering and membership in the MENSA community. Rob's passion for sharing knowledge is quite evident as he manages 4 YouTube channels plus a weekly blog. He has launched a series of logistics and supply chain books called 'Supply Chain Secrets' to help Australian businesses be more competitive, www.supplychainsecrets.com. Rob has personally led projects that have delivered savings in the millions and improved customer service levels. Rob was born in Jersey in the UK, educated at Cranfield University in the UK and moved to Australia in 1993. He became a proud Australian citizen in 1997. He is married with 4 grown children and lives in Sydney, Australia. Outside of work, Rob's interests include boating, playing the piano and very long distance (pilgrimage) walks.
