Bucharest, July 11 Smart ID Technology, a Romanian company specialized in end-to-end automation solutions, announces the acquisition of the Business Solutions division of HTSS, with the support of the private investment fund SARMIS Capital. This strategic transaction aims to take over both a valuable team, with solid experience in the architecture, development and delivery of customized software solutions, and two proprietary software products: the automated shift planning solution Shiftin and the eLearning platform Mindclass.

This move strengthens Smart ID’s strategic position as an integrated provider of value-added digital solutions for industries such as retail, logistics, manufacturing, healthcare and services. The acquisition is based on a solid complementarity between the product portfolios and technical expertise of the two companies.

Shiftin is an intelligent automatic shift planning application, created for operational teams in areas where efficient work schedule organization is essential. The solution addresses the needs of managers and employees in retail chains, production teams or logistics warehouses, offering a quick and easy way to create and adjust schedules. By using Shiftin, companies can optimize their human resource planning, allocating them where it matters most - at key business moments. In addition, Shiftin reduces planning time, ensures compliance with legal regulations, and provides transparency and flexibility for all involved.

The custom software development team brings advanced skills in full-stack technologies, web and mobile applications, turnkey enterprise solutions, and systems integration, and solid experience in agile delivery, data engineering, and UX, complements Smart ID's technical capabilities and will play an essential role in future product and platform initiatives.
